Bozeman Montana was a delight for the senses and made a fantastic base for checking out the surrounding area. We stayed at an RV park that offered access to hot springs, but ended up enjoying our exploration day so much, we stayed out later than anticipated. We drove through Gallatin Canyon all the way to west Yellowstone, stopping at lots of little turn offs and trails along the way anytime our curiosity got the better of us (earthquake lake, you know you got us!).
If it wasn’t for all that cold and snow they have to put up with, I could see Montana’s rolling fields, majestic mountains, regal horses and crisp fresh air working their magical, magnetic charms. We saw lots of people pulled off roadside just fishing, kayaking, hiking and enjoying the natural beauty around them and wouldn’t have minded lingering a few days (or weeks) longer if we’d visited earlier in the year.
