The Privacy Factor

After taking in the beauty of Bend and Crater Lake, we headed north toward the Columbia River Gorge area. Our stay was just a few days at Memaloose State Park. The sites were large and relatively private with fantastic river views. This was our first experience camping in a state park and it was a great, low cost option. We’ve had some good stays at other RV parks to date, but one thing that seems rare is privacy, so this state park was a perfect change of pace. The trade off was in amenities and water pressure, but we didn’t mind a bit!

We enjoyed hitting a few cider breweries on “Fruit Loop” and checked out some of the waterfalls in the area: Multnomah & Horsetail.
